1. Collection and use of personal data ​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​You can visit our site without providing any personal information. We only store access data without personal reference such as the name of your Internet service provider, date and time of the request, name of the requested file, page from which the file was requested, access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), web browser and operating system used, complete IP address of the requesting computer, transferred data volume. These data are evaluated exclusively to improve our offer and for reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server and do not allow any conclusion to your person.

Legal basis of the storage is § 15 TMG and Article 6 lit. f) DSGVO.

Personal data (such as name, company, address, telephone number and e-mail address) are only collected if you provide them to us voluntarily in the context of your contact enquiry. We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfilment and processing of your request. Upon complete processing of your request, your data will be blocked for further use and (if necessary after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods, currently ten years) deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data. 

2. Contact Form

​​​​​​​When you contact MULTIVAC via a contact form on the MULTIVAC website, the data you provide is stored so that your message can be forwarded to the right contact person. This is done in accordance with Article 6 lit b) DSGVO for processing your request. Your data provided via a contact form will not be used for any other purposes, especially not for advertising. After answering your inquiry we will delete your inquiry and the related personal data.​​

3. Customer Portal myMULTIVAC

​​​Register on the myMULTIVAC Customer Portal and get an overview of the MULTIVAC machines installed in your company. In addition, the customer portal contains a clear display of the history of your orders, enquiries and spare parts orders. The following data will be stored in accordance with Article 6 lit. a) DSGVO: first and last name, e-mail address, password and login information.

If you want to delete your customer portal, send an e-mail to portal(at)multivac.com.

4. Use of cookies

On various pages we use so-called "cookies" in accordance with § 15 Paragraph 3 TMG and Article 6 lit f) DSGVO in order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your computer.

Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk at the end of the browser session (so-called "session cookies").

Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your computer on your next visit (so-called "permanent cookies"). These cookies make it unnecessary, for example, to refill forms with your data.

You can prevent the use of cookies if necessary via the settings of your web browser. However, this can lead to our website not being displayed or not being displayed completely or to the functionality of our offers being restricted.

5. Web analysis services (provider Google)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and therefore IP addresses are only processed further in abbreviated form in order to exclude direct personal reference. 

6. Newsletter (service provider XQueue)

We use e-mail marketing to inform you about news from the world of packaging and about MULTIVAC. Your data and/or your usage behaviour are stored electronically and evaluated and processed for the purpose of improving customer service. This data will not be passed on to third parties. MULTIVAC uses XQueue GmbH, Christian-Pleß-Straße 11-13, 63069 Frankfurt am Main, only for data processing on behalf of MULTIVAC. You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint.

​​​​​​This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. 8. Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.

9. Data security

We protect our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

10. Credit card information

Credit card information provided by you is not stored at MULTIVAC, but is encrypted and collected directly by the payment service provider via the hypertext transfer protocol secure ("https").

11. Your rights

  • ​​​​​You have the right to be informed at any time about the data stored concerning your person, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of data processing. Please contact the MULTIVAC data protection officer.
  • Contradiction (market research):
    You can object to the future processing of the data concerning you in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO at any time. The objection may be lodged in particular against processing for direct marketing purposes. Please send a short e-mail to dataprotection(at)multivac.com (it does not have to contain a reason).
  • Revocation of consent (e.g. newsletter dispatch):
    You can revoke your consent for MULTIVAC to use your personal data, for example to send you a newsletter, at any time. If you wish to revoke your consent to receive the newsletter, please click on the link "Unsubscribe newsletter" in one of the received newsletter e-mails at the very bottom. In all other cases, please contact MULTIVAC's data protection officer.
  • Your other rights:
    You have the right to correct or delete or to limit the processing of your personal data, a right of objection to future processing and a right to data transferability. 
  • Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are staying, working or suspected of infringing, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to data protection rules.
